Pr G. DESUTER completed his medical degree at the Université catholique de Louvain Medical School in Brussels, Belgium. He was trained in ENT Head & Neck Surgery at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels and at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Montpellier in France. Pr G. Desuter has an executive Master in Business Administration from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a Master Degree in Health Care Management & Policy from the Harvard T. H. School of Public Health. He is now pursuing a PhD program at the University of Leiden in The Netherlands.

Pr G. Desuter is member of the Scientific Committee of the European Laryngological Society and former treasurer of the European Academy of Phoniatrics.

He directs the Voice & Swallowing center of the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels and teaches, as professor of surgery and phoniatry, at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.

Finally, Pr Desuter is also co-director of the Winter Days of Laryngology held every year in January in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
