Robert Maat

Robert Maat the Netherlands

Robert Maat is working as a senior consultant on the department of otorhinolaryngology at the Röpcke-Zweers Hospital in Hardenberg, the Netherlands since 2008. Besides the general otorhinolaryngology, his focus is on patients with exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction (EILO).

He did his training at the department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery at the Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, Norway. During this training he became involved in the EILO research and finished his thesis 2011.

He still collaborates with the Bergen and Uppsala EILO group in Scandinavia.
